On July 20th, 2024, a momentous occasion unfolded as the inaugural Hui Hoʻomālamalama Class of 2004 Scholarship was awarded to its very first recipient. This scholarship, one of 17 newly created scholarships, stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity for deserving individuals seeking to further their education.
What does this scholarship represent?
This scholarship embodies the spirit of unity, support, and excellence that defines our esteemed institution. It serves as a testament to the dedication and commitment of our alumni to give back to the community and nurture the next generation of leaders.
How did the Aloha Collection bag contribute?
With the overwhelming support of our limited edition Aloha Collection bag, we were able to make a generous $5,000 contribution to our class scholarship. This contribution was made in memory of our beloved classmates: Ashley Joy, Amanda Garcia, Casey Mediros, Mark Clifford, Radford Kawika Hepa, and Christi Yoshida. Their legacy lives on through this scholarship, inspiring others to reach for their dreams.
What does the future hold?
As we look towards the future, we are filled with hope and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead. Through continued fundraising efforts and the unwavering support of our alumni and community, we aim to expand and enhance our scholarship program, ensuring that it remains a pillar of support for generations to come.
Join us on this journey as we celebrate the legacy of the Hui Hoʻomālamalama Class of 2004 Scholarship. Together, we can make a difference and empower the leaders of tomorrow.
